Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Have you read this scripture and wondered what it meant? Did it frighten, or worry you? It should have, the Word of God tells us to:

Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

So who is this saying “Lord, Lord?”, only to be told to go away!? It's someone who thought very highly of themselves, they are astonished that the Lord doesn't know them! But they did many “wonderful works”, at least in their own minds. Who could be responsible for deceiving these people into believing they were so close to the LORD, so assured of their salvation, so loved and held in such high esteem by the Lord, they didn't have a care in the world. After all weren't these people once saved always saved? How could this happen to a believing “Christian”?? Jesus tells us how:

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

The False Prophet strikes again, remember him, isn't he of the same evil spirit as the serpent that convinced Eve to eat the apple? Yes he is, we all remember the story, the serpent convinced Eve, and then Eve convinced Adam to eat the fruit of the forbidden tree, against God's commandment:

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Straight forward commandment, but when we are told we cannot do something our flesh rears up, what? Why can't we do what we want, etc. The false prophet feeds the flesh, and the flesh loves it, because it is simply a temptation to do what it already wants to do, in this case, eat the fruit the Lord said not to. So the false prophet convinces those who are already contemplating doing a sinful action that it's OK, that Bible verse that plainly says not to do it, actually means something else.

That's what the original tempter did to Eve, and that's what today's false prophets have done to the Body of the Lord known collectively as the “Church”. The example I find most grievous and least repented of is the American Genocide of the Native American population from the 17th to the late 19th century. Most of the “Church” leaders were telling their congregations that it was their God-given duty to slaughter the Savage Natives, convert them to Christianity if they could after they were captured, and take all their land, it was their right, the “Church” and the Government teamed up on this, it was America's “Manifest Destiny” to stretch from one coast to another and to inhabit all the land and make disciples of the “savages, if any were left” at any cost.

The average American felt little sympathy for the “Indian”, much as today's “Israelite” feels little remorse over the genocide they commit daily against the natural inhabitants of Palestine. I believe this is the basis for the so-called special relationship between America and what is called Israel today. Both peoples believed they were given the right to occupy and cleanse the land of the natives, using violence, and any other means necessary, it was God's will for them to do so.

The people calling themselves Israel, should know better, but, they at least have a Biblical example of how the nation was first established to follow. They have rejected Jesus and His commandments of non-violence, of refusing to engage in fighting or wars, of turning the other cheek, agreeing with your adversaries before it's too late, of giving what you are asked for rather than fighting to keep it (The Sermon on the Mount Mat ch.5 - 7). But what excuse do the American “Christians” have in acquiring the land they have over the past two centuries? War after war, slaughter of the innocents has been the continuous foreign policy of supposed “Christian America” from the genocide of native Americans to the current policy of drone attacks on supposed “terrorists”.

A true Christian would have nothing to do with these homicidal policies, but, the average Christian in America thinks nothing of it, or is in fact proud of their own service to the military machine, and is even more pleased and proud when their own children join up to continue the tradition.

Beware of False Prophets:

Over the years they continually twisted and distorted the meaning of the Lord's Commandments until they were meaningless, recited still, but the meanings hidden away from those who had lost their love of the truth. Two thousand years later, while still calling Lord, Lord, they wouldn't recognize Him if He stood in front of them. And thus, when they stand in front of Him on Judgment day, He will not know them either:

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
