Can you find the True Gospel in the Churches?

It is true that most churches out there teach that if you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and accept Him as your Savior, then you are saved and adopted as joint heirs with Christ. This is Biblical and the very foundation of our faith. The problem lies herein: The vast majority of churches in America do not teach the real Jesus Christ. Instead, they teach a nationalistic, militaristic, and capitalistic version of Him that bears little resemblance to the Jesus of the Bible.

So what happens when we have millions upon millions of people accepting a false christ? In short, you have the namesake of our website: Perverted Christianity. The Apostle Paul writes of this perversion of the Gospel in Galatians chapter 1, and he goes on to say of anyone who is teaching this perversion of the Truth, “let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-8)

These perversions come in many forms today. Most are so ingrained into the modern Christian’s psyche that they give no thought to them at all. American flags in the sanctuaries, pledging allegiance to those flags, teaching that monetary gain is God’s blessing to His followers, that it is okay to kill your enemies if the nation you were born in tells you it’s the right thing to do, and even giving special honor to those who make it their career to kill their nation’s enemies. They teach you to follow and obey their man-made hierarchies, giving them special titles and the chief seats in the churches. They teach you that it’s okay for your church to be incorporated by the secular government, and you accept without question because at least you can write off your tithe as a tax deduction.

But what did Jesus teach about such things?

Jesus said that His kingdom is not of this world. In fact, the Gospel says that the kingdoms of the world have been given over to Satan at this time. (John 18:36; Luke 4:5-8) So why on earth would we recognize and honor a flag that represents an earthly kingdom controlled by Satan?

Jesus teaches that money is a stumbling block that chokes off the Word. He teaches that earthly treasures are not to be sought after, but rather we are to store up our treasures in Heaven. (Matthew 13:22; Matthew 6:19,18) So why would those following Christ want to have an abundance of something that is going to separate us from Him? God would not see this as bestowing a blessing upon us, and we shouldn’t see it that way either.

Jesus teaches that we are to love our enemies, and do good to those who persecute us. We pray for them…we do NOT kill them! (Matthew 5:43-48) We should be revolted by anyone who chooses a career where they voluntarily kill another human being. But instead, most churches today praise them for their “courage” and “bravery.”

Jesus taught that His disciples were to serve one another, and that no one was to exert authority over another. He harshly criticized the Pharisees for setting themselves up on pedestals, dressing in fancy clothes, and trying to appear greater than those under them. (Matthew 20:25-28; Matthew 23)

Jesus taught that the secular government and your service to God are two totally separate things. He said that you give to Caesar what is asked of you monetarily, and you give to God what is God’s. You do not give to God and then ask it back from Caesar! (Matthew 22:17-21) The filthy lucre you are able to keep is a huge price to pay for allowing the secular government to enter into your church. If your church is a registered 501(c)3 corporation, it has entered into a contract with a nation that the Bible says is ruled by Satan.

The above is just a sampling of the common perversions in today’s churches. The last (and most common) perversion that most all churches practice is the doctrine of self-righteousness. It comes in many different forms, but the core is always the same. The preacher tells you how good you are because you come to church every time the doors are open, you tithe regularly, you teach Sunday School, are on the church board, you volunteer, etc. It’s like painting varnish on a table, and every week when you enter those church doors you get another coat. Eventually the varnish of self-righteousness is so thick that the True Gospel can’t penetrate it. At this point, the only way to remedy this is to humble yourselves like little children, realize that you have been led astray, pray for God to restore you and for the Holy Spirit to teach you Who the real Jesus is. (John 14:26)

Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

“Let him be accursed……” This is serious business folks. This isn’t a matter of choosing the “right” denomination. This is the difference between lies and Truth, saved and unsaved, life and death. This is the difference between Jesus saying to you, “Well done my good and faithful servant,” or “Away from me, I never knew you.”

So today we ask you, which Jesus will you serve?

But it shall not be so among you

Mat 20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.
Mat 20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;
Mat 20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:
Mat 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

In conforming to the world the “Church” has also taken the organizational structure of the world's corporations, which makes sense when you recall that most of the “Churches” are registered corporations of the United States! There's a CEO, the Pastor, there's executive assistants, the associate pastors, the praise and worship pastor, the youth pastor, the … well you get the picture. These people revel in their titles, some in their clothing, either pretentious costumes to signify their self importance, or ridiculously expensive to show how “God has blessed them”, which in reality is paid for by the fraudulently obtained donations of those who wish to get rich themselves.

Whether it be the ostentatious costumes or the ornate altar they stand behind or a chair that looks like it came from a palace in the middle ages, the “pastor” or CEO of the Church has to use these props to make it clear to the congregation that he is in charge and you are to obey, donate and serve him in any way that he says, if you are to be a good “Christian”, to be blessed by God as they have been. Read Matthew 20:25 – 28 again, does this sound like what Jesus had in mind?

Mar 9:34 But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.
Mar 9:35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

Jesus is crystal clear on this: No structures of power, no hierarchies, nothing to get in the way of the Gospel being preached, no people striving to be in charge, no egos, no corporate ladder climbing or back stabbing. The Gospel is all that matters! The leader, the minister, the pastor is not supposed to be placed on a pedestal, and have every whim served, but is supposed to serve his congregation, to minister to all. Today's “Church”, like in most other things, has it backwards.

Pastor's today are lording their “authority” over their congregations, they are using fraud to get more money from the people who unwittingly think they are doing God a service while enriching these apostates. Jesus knew what would happen, what had already happened when the “Church” or the religious body of the day exercised their natural inclinations:

Mar 12:38 And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,
Mar 12:39 And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
Mar 12:40 Which devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.

Modern day Scribes, Pharisees, Sadducees and all other Apostates, you've been warned:

Mar 12:40 … these shall receive greater damnation. Mar 10:42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
Mar 10:43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
Mar 10:44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
Mar 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Pastors' read carefully, and to paraphrase the 35th President: Don't ask what your congregants can do for you, but what you can do for them. If you seek to be great then serve all. Better yet, humble yourselves, realize that you're promised no more than anyone else in the Kingdom of Heaven and then serve with a clean conscience and a pure heart and store up your treasures in Heaven and not here on earth.

Luk 22:24 And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.
Luk 22:25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.
Luk 22:26 But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
Luk 22:27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.
Luk 22:28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.
Luk 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;
Luk 22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

What comes from these man-made structures? Strife, envy. lust for power over others, envy for each others possessions and positions, covetousness, all these lead to strife in the Church, splits and factions and eventually to 40,000 different denominations. This is far from what God intended for His children:

Mat 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Mat 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Mat 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

We're seeing some of the worst examples ever of man made structuring of the “Church”, the evil that man can do in a corporate body, for example the Catholic “Church”. From the unbiblical works to salvation (the 7 sacraments) to the replacement of Jesus with the priest as your intercessor with God. To praying to mortal men and women instead of God this religion has clear and indisputable error in it (unless you're a Catholic), but this hasn't stopped over a billion people from proclaiming themselves to be so. I am not picking on Catholics to be mean, I am using them as one of the worst examples of an evil, demonic hierarchy, completely corrupted, completely conformed to the world and over the history of the Catholic “Church” the evil done is astonishing! Today the Pope is clearly identified in the horrific child abuse scandal as one of the higher ups who pardoned and/or shuffled around the known pedophiles to continue their despicable behavior! Think of what kind of man of God would do this, would allow this to continue? Remember what Jesus said:

Luk 17:1 Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
Luk 17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Mar 9:36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,
Mar 9:37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.
Mar 9:42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

The little ones spoken of by our Lord clearly don't mean much to the Pope and others involved in this wretched activity. They leave this sin of pedophilia festering and rotting so more children will be abused in the future, and they will unless action is taken immediately! This evil sin is like cancer, it must be cut out completely, all who had a part in it, or covered it up must be cast out of their so called Church! Sadly, this isn't going to happen. The Pope's PR person has compared those of us demanding action to anti-Semites. They'll probably hire a large PR firm and spend millions to rehabilitate their image and keep the gullible in tow, keep the filthy lucre coming in.

If any of you in the protestant world of apostasy have an urge to gloat, don't, your religious hierarchies are little better, you too belong to incorporated servants of the U.S. Government. You have your idols and false doctrines to spare, and as I now urge the Catholics to demand the decentralization of their “Church”, I urge the same for all denominations! Take your “Church” back from the evil rulers! Tell the evil hierarchies you are no longer a part of Catholicism, or the Baptists, or Methodists or any other denomination. Tell the U.S. Government you are no longer incorporated to them either! Take it back and refuse to bow down to their “laws and regulations”, make Jesus Christ the ruler of your hearts, minds and bodies and your church buildings!

Rev 18:4 … Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Daniel Mark
