Is This The End?

Is This The End?

As I write to you the stock market is falling below 9000 points, one presidential nominee is essentially calling the other a terrorist sympathizer that will get us all killed if we vote for him, and neither is telling the truth to the people of this country about what is really going on.

What’s really going on is the government of this country has sold most of us out to the “Rich Men” of the earth that oppress us (James 2:6), and enriched themselves in the process. Those that control most of the wealth of the world have mercilessly grabbed more and more, aided and abetted by the politicians, spurred on by their own greed.

The results are a drastically lower standard of living for most of us, much less or no disposable income, heavy reliance on credit under usury terms, pay day loan stores on every block, massive foreclosures on homes, sky-rocketing personal and business bankruptcies, unaffordable or no health insurance, on and on it goes and there’s no end in sight.

The middleclass, the heart of this country, are being squeezed in every possible way to get the last penny out of them, and while the politicians give lip service to the problems they face, they are, both parties, complicit in the theft of the nation’s wealth and transfer to the rich.

So what can be done? Some think if Barack Obama is elected he’ll turn things around and give us all a fair shake. Unfortunately Obama has already been bought and paid for by the Corporate Elite as evidenced by his turnabout and subsequent massive donations from the benefactors of the Immunity for Telecom Industry bill. He had earlier threatened a filibuster to stop the bill from passing, but changed his mind apparently and afterwards was rewarded handsomely for it. Politicians aren’t the answer; the Republicans are just as bad or far worse depending on what your affiliation is.

The country is polarized by divisive politics and cultural issues, which is nothing but a distraction as we’re being robbed blind. From 1980 to today the top 1% of the economic class has increased its wealth dramatically. The middle class has been forced to desperate means just to stay afloat, keep food on the table and a roof over their heads. While the government races to save the wealthy from bad loans they leave those without lobbyists to fend for themselves.

The two-party system is first and foremost self-serving, meaning it is not going to allow a third party that might actually help the middleclass to get into a position of taking power from them. So what does the average citizen do? Some might think they’ll take matters into their own hands and force change, but believe me, the government has put all the protection it needs in place, in the form of the Patriot Act, repeal of the Posse Comitatus act (which says the government cannot use the military for law enforcement), passage of the Domestic Terrorist act (which leaves it to the government to define what is terrorism and I bet they’ll find a true citizen’s movement to get rid of them as terrorism) militarizing the police forces, suppression of peaceful protests, infiltration and subversion of all groups which protest the anti-constitutional practices of the government, you name it they’ve got it covered and you can’t win.

Is this the end? It is of any sense of liberty, freedom, and hope for a reasonable standard of living for most of America’s citizens. Most will continue down the path of corporate slavery, losing every step of the way to the rich and their paid help, the politicians, until all that most can hope for is to survive to the next day.

The Stock market closed under 8600 points today, from a high of 14,164.53 exactly one year ago and fell to 8579.19 it has lost 40%, or nearly 10 trillion dollars in a year. General Motors, once the largest corporation in the world lost over 30% of its value today alone, it’s now ranked 20th in terms of automakers in company value, and don’t be surprised if they file for bankruptcy soon! That will send the market spiraling downwards even more and there’s indeed no end in sight.

It is indeed the end. No matter what the government tries to do, it will not work; the house of cards that the American economy was built on in the last few decades is in an unstoppable downward crash. With it the world’s economic system will fall too. I don’t know how long the strings can be pulled to avoid the collapse but collapse it will. There appears no hope for the world, no way to overcome it.

I do know of one man who said “I have overcome the world”. All of the efforts of the world and its various forms of government have failed. America is often referred to as the last best hope for the world, well, if that’s true then the world has no hope … except:

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

What did He say:

Mat 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mammon, as can be ascertained from the Words of Jesus is earthly treasure, and they can turn into your master, as our Lord warns. Your bank account, your 401k, are these what you trust in? Or is the Lord what you trust in? He knows out hearts so there is no fooling Him. The financial crisis is a good way to know if the Lord or mammon is your master. We’re either working for Heavenly, or earthly treasure. If you’ve lost your earthly treasure fear not, read carefully the Lords’ Words below and let them transform your way of thinking and separate yourself from the wicked ways of the world. If you haven’t that’s good, then share them with those in need.

Mat 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Mat 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Mat 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Mat 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Amen!
